Monday

On Monday we started at 9 am when the teachers gave us and instruction on what we are going to do. Then we chose a partner and random a piece of coloured paper. When everyone took one, we went into groups by which colour of paper we had. When we were all sorted into groups, we went upstairs to do some activities to get to know each other. At 12 am we all dressed up and went outside to show Brno to the German kids and showed them: Galerie Vaňkovka, Zelný trh, Stará radnice, náměstí Svobody, Moravská galerie, socha Jošta, Orloj, Česká, Špilberk.

Tuesday

On Tuseday we were the first to work on the task on air pollution as team, then we went to the university and listend to a lecture on air pollution. There was also a quiz to take part in, and it was, for example that nitrogen is the most in the air and that a person breathes 10 to 20 liters of air per day.

Wednesday

On Wednesday we first sat down with the teams and started working on the topic of air in Brno. The tasks were for example - what is PM 2,5. In the second task we had to look for places where there was the best air and the worst air in Brno. We went to a lot of place and then we measured the air and wrote it down. During the week we dealt with the topic of air in Brno. Our tasks were for example what is the air like in Brno. The bad air can damage our hearts and make us sick. The bad air comes from vehicles and industries, for example - People can drive less and bike or walk more.

Thursday 

On Thursday, we worked almost all day on the presentation. At 15:30 we started preparing for the party. At 16:00 we started the party, we enjoyed it, ate, drank and danced. At 17:30 we slowly left home.

Friday

We got together and talked about the presentation and worked a bit on it and then presented it. After the presentation of our presentations, we began to say goodbye to the Germans who were leaving to their country and going home. 

Air pollution

Air pollution - Project week. During project week we were concentrated on air pollution, how it affects our health and environment. During the project week we went to the city center, university and our school surroundings. As I said, air quality can affect our health. Here are some things we figured out about air quality affecting our health-Short term: head ache, soar throat and high blood pressure. Long term: Heart attacks, heart disease and can affect IQ. Now, you might be wondering what can influence the air quality, here are the two main reasons: Local heating and transport. Well, now that you know the two main causes of bad air quality you should know what you can do to improve the air quality: Limiting car use, planting more trees and flowers and not smoking. As I said we went to the surroundings of our school, where we measured the air quality, and the results shocked me: The worst air quality- Benzina, The best- our school!

Things we liked 

This week we liked the game on Monday best because it was easier to get to know each other and the tour of the city was also very cool. Actually everything here was cool. The Universities presentation was also cool and interesting
